Since 21 February 2023 ECORD and ICDP have their presence in the National History Museum in Vienna, Austria (see photo gallery from the Celebration of the Opening Day at the NHM Vienna »).
A permanent exhibit in NHM Vienna, in Geology section Hall 6: “The Earth – a dynamic Planet” presents five core replicas donated by ECORD and ICDP, and corresponding information, video material, and descriptions.
Four core replicas donated by ECORD are: PETM core replica, Tahiti core replica, two Chicxulub Impact Crater replicas (Postimpact Resurge and Deformation in granite). ICDP donated a replica from Great Oxydation Event (ICDP project FAR-DEEP).
